Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Add the dry ingredients together into a bowl: flour blend, sugar, baking powder and salt. Mix well with a whisk.
In a separate bowl, add the wet ingredients together: egg, cream, vanilla. Mix well with a whisk.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until the batter is formed.
Grease donut mold tin if it is not a non-stick pan.
Pour batter into the donut baking tin, fill a little over 3/4 full.
Cook for 30 minutes.
Turn tin upside down to help remove donuts and place them on a cooling rack.
As the donuts are cooling make the maple donut glaze: add 1 cup of confectionary sugar to a bowl and then add the 3 tablespoons of real maple syrup. Whisk these two ingredients together until it has melted into a thick and creamy maple syrup donut glaze.
Place parchment paper under the cooling rack to catch the drips from the glaze. Dip the donuts into the glaze and place back on the cooling rack. Let them harden and then dip them a second time.
Let second coat fully harden and then enjoy!
