The best extra thin and crispy pizza made quick and easy right at home.
- Large flour tortillas(8-10inch)
- Adobo sauce, or regular tomato pizza sauce
- Cheese
- Chorizo
- Butternut squash or potato
- Jalapeno
- Avocado
- Cilantro
Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Choose an appropriate sized cast iron skillet or baking pan to build the tortilla pizza on.
Spread the adobo sauce or pizza sauce over the tortilla, sprinkle cheese, chorizo, butternut squash or potatoes and jalapeño slices.
Cook for approximately 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the edges begin to get brown and crispy.
Garnish with chopped cilantro and avocado slices.

-How to make tortilla pizza crispy: Leave the tortilla pizza in the oven for the longer end of time, or if you are in a rush, turn up the temperature or place under the broiler on high. It will cook quickly, so make sure to stick around to check it frequently.
This is a chicken tortilla pizza recipe as I used ground chicken chorizo sausage. You can use any meat that you like or have on hand.
-I used dairy-free mozzarella cheese from Violife.
-If you are wanting to make a healthy tortilla pizza you can use lean meat such as ground chicken sausage, no meat and use a plant-based cheese. You can also load this up with veggies. Some vegetables that work well are spinach, onions, peppers, squash, potato.
-I found it was not necessary to grease the cast iron pan I was using. I also made one on a baking sheet and the tortilla did not stick to either pan.
